My mother found one of her old Cosmopolitan magazines from 1985. I took some quick cell phone photos of some of the things I loved or found hilarious.

This is how this all started... I was sitting on the couch watching the Golden Girls when my mom looks over at me and says, "Kristina, do you know who Burt Reynolds is?" and I replied, "yes..." To which she said, "Do you want to see him naked?" and whips out this centerfold of Burt Reynolds in all of his hairy, naked glory.

It's a day late, I know. Well yesterday I finally got out of bed and went to the doctors. Antibiotics, multivitamins, blech. (I am already feeling much better today though, yee!) Tea rules my life.

I love stumbling on old books, and I am glad that I was, as my friends called me, a nerd and bookmarked my favorite parts of books.

Other than that today was a boring day full of nothing. I have an awful cold and spent almost all of my day in bed or on the couch watching tv. This is my second day with no self portrait in my picture collage, but I cheated and took a picutre of a picture of myself. :) I need to get better and get outside. Sorry for all the boring pictures.

365 Days of Kristina

Last year my photography teacher assigned us a project to "take a picture a day" for 30 days as our final exam. I had so much fun with it and often took up to 50 photos a day once I got into it. As my new year resolution I decided I would start that again.

So from now until Dec 31, 2011 I am going to start a new project called 365 Days of Kristina! So here is day one, the rest will come as soon as I get them uploaded, then I will try to keep this to a daily basis :)

Me and the boyfriend man. Not such a hot picture of either of us, :) Regardless it was a lovely way to start the new year.

The boyfriend took me out to dinner which we wound up with a short trip to Marshals. I love love love Marshals/TJMaxx. There are so many beautiful treasures there and for such great prices. I bought myself a new Threads For Thoughts Vneck and discovered some of Meeka Baby's cousin piglets.

Here's to a lazy day full of tea, candles, and books. Not to mention mustaches. :)

Kama Sutra Silly Bands?

Please tell me this is some kind of joke? I, for one, am not a fan of this whole rubber band craze. People over the age of seven who obsess over Silly Bands honestly kind of weird me out, and the fact that they would make bands of people having sex weirds me out even more. I understand that maybe they are trying to expand to an older demographic, but this is just not okay. Some may find them humerous however, I just find them plain tacky and tasteless.

Will today be the day that I save the world, or destroy it?
